LiveQA
LiveQA is currently using RideLoop’s standard default terms below — they haven’t published their own customised version yet.
These terms apply to every booking you make with LiveQA through this site.
A booking is confirmed once we’ve accepted it and taken payment (or a deposit, where shown) via our payment processor, Stripe. Prices, what’s included, and any security deposit are shown before you pay. If we send you a priced quote and you accept it, that creates a confirmed booking on the same basis as booking directly. We may also send you a secure link to collect any outstanding balance after your booking is made.
Each listing shows its own cancellation notice period and refund terms at the time you book — check these before paying, as they can vary between categories, tours, and holiday packages. Outside that notice period, cancellations may not be refundable. Contact us as early as possible if your plans change; we’ll always try to help.
You’re responsible for any bike, equipment, or accessory hired to you from the moment you collect it until you return it. Fair wear and tear is expected and never charged for; damage, loss, or theft beyond that may be charged against a security deposit (where one applies) or invoiced separately. Where a security deposit applies, it’s either a temporary hold on your card (released automatically if unused, typically within about a week) or taken upfront and refunded afterwards — which one applies is shown to you before you pay. Report any problem with your equipment to us as soon as you notice it.
Optional extras shown at checkout — such as a helmet, lock, or additional cover — are equipment or services we provide directly. Unless we clearly say otherwise for a specific extra, these aren’t an underwritten insurance policy.
Cycling, guided touring, and outdoor activities carry inherent risks of injury, even when equipment is well-maintained and instructions are followed. By booking, you accept these are a normal part of the activity. Where we ask you to sign a waiver or complete a safety briefing before you ride, that document sets out the specific risks and terms for your activity and forms part of your agreement with us.
Where a tour or holiday shows a minimum group size, we may need to reschedule or, as a last resort, cancel and refund a date that doesn’t reach it — we’ll always try to offer alternative dates first, and we tell you as early as we reasonably can. Where weather-related rescheduling cover is shown on a listing, it’s described there; otherwise, severe weather is handled case by case, prioritising your safety.
Neither of us is responsible for a failure to perform caused by something reasonably outside our control — extreme weather, natural disaster, strikes, government restrictions, or similar. We’ll let you know as soon as we can and work with you on rescheduling or a refund where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Beyond that, our liability to you for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we’re not liable for indirect losses (like a missed connection) that weren’t reasonably foreseeable when you booked.
If you break these terms, damage or misuse our equipment, or act unlawfully during your booking, you agree to cover any reasonable costs, claims, or losses we suffer as a result.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without affecting any right you have under your own local consumer protection law.
We may change these terms at any time, without prior notice, by publishing the updated version on this page.
