Get started/Introduction

RideLoop Developer API

Read and manage bookings, take payments, and read fleet listings programmatically, using an API key scoped to your operator account and to the specific permissions (scopes) you grant it. Every write is idempotent and every state change is available as a webhook, so you can build against it the same way you'd build against Stripe or any other modern API.

Before you start

You need a plan that includes API access (Growth or Enterprise — check under Settings → Subscription → Plans), then a key from Settings → API Keys, choosing which resources it can read and write. The full key is shown once — copy it somewhere safe. Keys are rate-limited at 150 requests a minute, with limit headers on every response.

Send it as a Bearer token

On every request, regardless of endpoint:

const response = await fetch('https://your-rideloop-domain/api/v1/bookings?limit=…', {
method: 'GET',
headers: {
Authorization: 'Bearer rlk_...',
},
})
const data = await response.json()
