The booking lifecycle
From Pending through Confirmed, In progress, Completed, or Cancelled.

A guest booking starts as Pending. You confirm or decline it from the booking detail page — confirming moves it to Confirmed.
Bookings move to In progress and Completed automatically as their dates pass, or you can update status manually.
Cancelling a Confirmed or In-progress booking computes any refund due (based on the rate plan / cancellation policy) before charging anything back — see "Cancellations & refunds" below.
