Cancellations & refunds
Operator-initiated cancellation with an automatically computed refund.

Cancelling a Confirmed or In-progress booking shows you the computed refund BEFORE you confirm — based on the booking's rate plan and cancellation policy window, snapshotted at booking time so a later policy change never affects it.
A Flexible package refunds in full if cancelled far enough ahead of the start date; a Non-refundable package never refunds. Bike categories and tours use the same day-threshold check directly.
Any still-open security deposit hold is automatically voided as part of cancellation — there's no damage claim to make if the trip isn't happening.
