Hold a refundable deposit for damage or loss, separate from the booking payment.

Set an optional security deposit amount on a bike category, tour, or holiday package. When configured, it's authorized (not charged) as a second Checkout step right after the guest pays for their booking.
From the booking detail page, release the hold in full once the bike/tour is returned in good condition, or capture some or all of it if there's damage — you'll need to provide a reason for a partial or full capture.
Card authorization holds typically expire after about a week on Stripe's side — resolve deposits promptly, especially for week-plus holiday packages.
