Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This covers cookies on RideLoop’s own properties — this marketing site, the operator portal, and platform admin. An Operator’s own storefront has its own separate cookie policy and its own consent choice for guests — see that Operator’s own site.

Strictly necessary

Session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in — to your operator portal or platform-admin account (set by Clerk), or to the guest booking portal after you look up a booking (set by RideLoop) — and cookies used to protect against fraud during checkout (set by Stripe). The platform doesn’t function without these, so they can’t be turned off.

Analytics & session replay (optional on this marketing site)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall traffic and page performance. It’s cookieless — it doesn’t set any cookie, store anything in your browser, or track you across sites — and only collects aggregate, non-identifying page-view data.

With your permission, this marketing site also uses PostHog (page views, clicks, and an anonymised replay of on-page interactions) and Google Analytics (page views and traffic sources), each of which sets its own cookies. You can decline both together in the cookie banner shown on your first visit to this marketing site, or change your choice any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The operator portal and platform admin don’t currently show this choice — PostHog runs there unconditionally for signed-in staff/operators, same as before. Form fields likely to contain personal details (names, phone numbers, business details) are masked in any PostHog recording, and we respect your browser’s Do Not Track setting, which opts you out of PostHog automatically wherever it runs.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a booking payment.
